TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
